How booking works

Book online, by phone or by text. All three reach the same dispatch. This page sets out what we need, how much notice each kind of trip takes, and what happens once a booking is made.

Book

(646) 222-4444 — call or text. Dispatch 24/7.

Confirmation immediately by email and text. Notice needed: 15 minutes for an airport pickup, 15 minutes within New York City, 1 hour elsewhere.

Online checkout is provided by Limo Anywhere; its accessibility and privacy behavior are described on the accessibility and privacy pages.

Have these ready

Five details take a booking, and a sixth if you are arriving by air. Everything below this section explains why each one matters.

For any trip

Pickup address with the street number · destination · date and time · the traveler’s name and mobile · how many passengers and how many bags.

Arriving by air

The airline and flight number, or the tail number for a private aircraft — and whether you want to be met inside the terminal or at the curb.

What we need to take a booking

Every booking Why
Date and timeFor an airport arrival, give us the flight, not a time — we track it and the pickup moves with it.
Pickup addressStreet number included. "The Hilton" is four different buildings in this region.
DestinationNeeded for the quote as well as the trip. Multiple stops are quoted before the trip.
Passenger name and mobileThe number the chauffeur texts on arrival. If you are booking for someone else, we want their number, not yours.
Number of passengers and bagsDecides the vehicle class. Be honest about the bags — see fleet.
Vehicle classbusiness sedans, luxury sedans, business SUVs, luxury SUVs and Sprinter vans — capacities on the fleet pages.
Airport arrivals also need Why
Airline and flight numberOptional, but strongly recommended. Dispatch works against the flight, so a terminal or gate change is handled on our side. Without it the flight cannot be tracked, and free wait runs from the booked pickup time rather than from arrival.
Domestic or internationalDecides free wait time — 30 minutes against 1 hour — and where the chauffeur waits.
Meet inside, or curbsideMeet and greet $30 plus parking at cost. Curbside, no charge.
Tail number, for a private jetA private jet has no flight number — we work from the aircraft’s registration, painted on the tail. Many private flights are blocked from public tracking; where the aircraft cannot be tracked, free wait runs from the booked pickup time.
Tell us if it applies Detail
Child seata booster is $10 a seat; a full seat is $30. Notice at the time of booking. Types stocked: a regular child seat and a booster seat.
PetPets are welcome when declared at booking, in a secure carrier or on the floor with suitable protection; pets over 25 pounds travel in an SUV or Sprinter van, no more than two animals per reservation, and a cleaning fee may apply.
Corporate cost codeMatter number, client code or department, carried onto the invoice. Corporate accounts.

How much notice

Trip Notice
Airport pickup15 minutes
Within New York City15 minutes
Everywhere else1 hour

These are the points at which we can reliably say yes, not hard cut-offs. Shorter notice is worth a phone call — (646) 222-4444 — because the answer depends on where a car happens to be, and a form cannot tell you that.

What happens after you book

When What
On bookingWritten confirmation immediately by email and text, with the quoted price and what it includes.
On the dayChauffeur name and vehicle sent to the passenger's mobile: when the chauffeur sets off, usually 15 minutes to an hour before pickup
On arrivalText, not a call — unless you have asked otherwise.
Airport arrivalsFlight tracked automatically. If you know in advance that your flight is delayed, let dispatch know. Wait time policy.
After the tripReceipt emailed once the trip is completed and payment is charged.

Before you book, read these two

Cancellation policy

What it costs to cancel and when. The windows differ by vehicle class, and a Sprinter van is not a sedan. No-show is defined rather than left to judgment.

Wait time and flight delays

How free wait is measured, what happens on a delayed or diverted flight, and when overrun starts being billed at the hourly rate for your vehicle class.

Common questions

These are the ones specific to making a booking; the answers that apply to every trip — payment methods, gratuity, child seats, pets — are in the FAQ.

Can I book without giving a card?

No. A card is required to make a booking. No hold is placed on the card at booking, and it is charged at the end of the trip once the final amount is known.

Can I book for someone else?

Yes, and most airport bookings are. Give us the traveler's mobile rather than yours, or the chauffeur texts the wrong person on arrival. Assistants booking regularly are better served by an account.

Is the online price the final price?

The quote is built from a flat rate for airport transportation and set destinations, or an hourly rate when the car is at your disposal and holds unless the trip changes. What sits outside it is listed rather than buried: tolls are not included in the fare and are itemized in your quote, gratuity is not included and is entirely at your discretion, parking on a meet and greet at cost, extra stops quoted before the trip, waiting beyond the free allowance at the hourly rate for your vehicle class. An hourly booking includes stops at no additional charge.

What if my flight changes after I book?

Delays are automatic — we track the flight. A change of flight number, date or airport is a change we need told: (646) 222-4444. See the wait time policy for diversions (we rebook against the new flight and quote any difference before the car moves) and the cancellation policy for a canceled flight (not charged; dispatch will contact you to reschedule, and if not, the booking is cancelled).

Can I book a return at the same time?

Yes. Both legs are booked together, each with its own pickup time.
