Northline Black Car

Privacy policy

What a chauffeur booking involves collecting — a name, a phone number, a home address, a flight number and, over time, a pattern of where you go — and what happens to it.

Review note. The categories of data described here are what a chauffeur booking involves. This policy will be reviewed by an attorney licensed in New York and checked against the New York SHIELD Act and the equivalent provisions in the other states we serve.

The sensitive part of this data is not the card number. It is the pattern. A regular airport run reveals a home address, a travel schedule and when a house is empty; a hospital destination reveals a medical fact; a repeated address reveals a relationship. That is why the retention and access questions below matter more in this business than the security of the payment step, which is handled by a processor.

Object to marketingUnsubscribe in any message, or [email protected]. Service messages about a booked trip are not marketing and continue.
Stop SMSReply STOP. Note this also stops arrival notifications: We text you about your own booking — confirmation, chauffeur details and arrival. Access controlREMOVED — internal practice, not a customer disclosure — a chauffeur sees their own assigned trips, not the customer database
Transport securityThe site and the booking flow are served over HTTPS
Breach notificationIf a breach affects your personal information we will notify you, and the New York Attorney General, as the SHIELD Act requires — New York's SHIELD Act imposes notification duties on any business holding New York residents' private information
VendorsWe rely on the standard data terms of the vendors we use

8. Cookies and this website

this site sets no cookies of its own. Analytics: none — we use no third-party analytics on this site. Advertising or remarketing pixels: none — we run no advertising or remarketing pixels. The booking widget sets its own cookies under Limo Anywhere's policy, which is outside this one — a gap flagged on the booking page and in the accessibility statement.

9. Children

This service is booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children, though a booking may name a child traveling. A child's name and seat requirement is held as part of the trip record and retained on the same basis as the rest of it.

10. Changes

Changes are published here with a new effective date. Version REMOVED — no version published. Material changes affecting how existing data is used will be notified rather than quietly posted.

Common questions

Does my employer see where I went?

On a corporate account, yes — the invoice carries trip-level detail including route, date and cost code, because that is what the account is for. If a trip is personal, book it personally. This is worth knowing before you book, not after.

Do you sell my data?

No. Trip data is not sold and not shared for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where a home address, a travel schedule and a hospital destination sit in the same record, selling it would be indefensible regardless of what a policy permitted.

Are calls to dispatch recorded?

REMOVED — not disclosed on the website, retained REMOVED — not disclosed on the website. Where recording is in use you will be told at the start of the call rather than in a policy page you did not read.

Does the chauffeur keep my address?

REMOVED — internal practice, not a customer disclosure. A chauffeur is shown the trips assigned to them and does not have access to the customer database or to your booking history.

What about the third-party checkout?

Data entered at checkout goes to Limo Anywhere, on their own domain and under their privacy policy as well as this one. Having the most sensitive step of the booking governed by someone else's policy is a known issue, not an arrangement we are content with — see book.
